Strategy & Planning : Prepare the strategic plan for developing the finance team to reform and automate activities across finance department. Plan should reflect assignment and rolling out those activities to the individual team members keeping in view individual skills and competence and monitor the performance to ensure the achievement of the objectives as defined in the strategic plan of the section. Chart of Accounts Maintenance and Financial Closing: Manage GL maintenance activities and ensure alignment to Bahri's chart of accounts guidelines and policies. Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing for the region and provide approval on the final trial balance for the financial period. Fixed Assets : Manage all fixed assets accounting activities and ensure that the region's fixed assets are properly accounted for and safeguarded. Supervise fixed asset additions, transfers, and disposals and provide recommendations for asset optimisation. Accounts Payable: Manage all regional AP functions and ensure that all AP invoices are validated, recorded, and processed in an accurate and timely manner. Oversee the preparation of payment schedules and supplier reconciliations and investigate material discrepancies. Accounts Receivable : Manage that all AR invoices are validated and recorded in an accurate and timely manner and revenue is recognised in line with applicable policies. Monitor AR reconciliations and aging schedules and follow up on material discrepancies as well as overdue payments.
